Where community and Catalyst meet

DIGG IT!     3 Comments Published Monday, June 01, 2009 at 8:10 AM .

I have set-up an new application on Adobe Groups for sharing skins made with Flash Catalyst. Given the limitless design options when creating skins I thought it might be great to share skins and see what others come up with.

Having a defined set of skin elements on a hidden state within Catalyst really makes prototyping easy as design elements are just drag and drop.

Some sample skins:

If you build a skin in Catalyst or just have a cool ui to share.

Post them here.

Just to make sure.. You cannot convert artwork to Radio Button or Check Box components in the beta version of Flash Catalyst? Any idea when this might be enabled?

    Hi Ted,

Great Initiative, it might be a good way of driving the development and adoption of FC.

Anyways, I was wondering if another good way of exchanging skins would be as FXPL files (Flex Library Project files) and not necessarily Flex Projects ?

When I take your "simple" skin and export it as an FXLP and import it into an existing project, it works fine and all controls are added to the library of the existing project.

    Just a thought... :-)
