Today we are pushing out 25 new MAX sessions onto AdobeTV for a total of 41 of 295 sessions posted. Having ironed out the video issues last week, explanation below, we are pushing forward with posting videos regularly. To catch up we are posting a batch today.

Thanks. I'm digging the sessions I didn't see while at MAX. However, is there a central website where slides and media files are posted? I think nearly EVERY speaker (at MAX and other conferences for what its worth) say they'll post stuff after the conference. It's a tad disrespectful when you know 1/2 of them will never follow through. ANYWAY, some speakers have mentioned they'll be uploading assets to the "max website". Is there a central place I can download some of this stuff? Thanks.
All I see are 12 design / 7 develop / 5 envision videos, but not 41.
A few of these could be improved... sound levels, removing repleated ummms. Could these sources be provided with the idea/license/permission of polishing and submitting back the cleaned up version ?
All 41 are posted now.
Ted :)
The videos were captured true to the presenters performance. Editing them would not represent what actually occurred at MAX NA.
Truth in presentation?
The FLV's are all licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 3.0. You are thus free to translate, mash-up, fix the videos as you see fit and republish with attribution to the original presenters.

One quick question...sort of related. I am thinking of ways to view these on an iPhone and thought about converting the swfs to avi or mpeg. Does anyone know of a program to do this? I'm willing to pay for it, if necessary, but felt that the $80 price tag at sothinkmedia for this type of program was a little steep (I was thinking more along the lines of $25-$30). Any good ones? Thanks.
@Phillip, the presentations are available online at the Max site, (for those who were registered attendees only). It's easy to miss, though. From the session locator (http://max.adobe.com/na/sessions/), you need to find a session of interest. Then you'll see a login button in the lower right corner. Doing that will then show a link to get the presentations.
It's confusing, though, because before logging in, you also see a link there for "download pdf", but that's a PDF of the session list. Grr.
As a speaker, I can tell you that we couldn't get away with saying "I'll post stuff after the conference", because we were under a very controlled and deadline-driven process to get drafts and then finals in well in advance of the event. Sure, someone may then have wanted to alter what they showed, and that then they needed to get up themselves afterward. But at least Adobe tried to head off this problem.
I just wish the process of seeing how to get the downloads was more apparent. I think the login button is a little subtle, and the "download pdf" confusing. Perhaps if it showed the links to the preso files, but clicking them made you login, at least it would be more apparent (though still frustrating for those without a login).
That raises an entirely different question: if they're giving away the content videos, why not then also give away (and remove the login requirement) to see the content PDFs/slides. Perhaps Ted can address that.
Forgot to click the "email followup comments" button, so had to post again. I'd say "ignore this", but it's too late. :-)
Charlie -
Thanks for posting where to find the presentation PDFs. I don't think I'd ever have seen that.
more max sessions please...I don't see anything new since this last batch of 25 in december.
