360Flex SJ 2008 - Mate Flex Framework by Laura Arguello

DIGG IT!     1 Comments Published Tuesday, September 02, 2008 at 9:44 PM .

Do your applications start to grow and become an unwieldy set of interdependent parts?
Join Laura as she walks you through how to build an application using Mate framework. The focus of the presentation will be on how Mate helps us organizing the different parts of the application such as views, business logic and services, while keeping them decoupled.

Cheers,

Ted :)

People had a lot of positive things to say about Mate at 360Flex following this presentation. More than any other frameworks I've seen, Mate really takes advantage of the MXML aspect of Flex, rather than being only based on ActionScript code. Hence, Mate is branded as a tag-based framework, which you have to see to understand.

I have a lot of confidence that Mate is going to be something big. So much so that I will be speaking about Mate at the Silicon Valley Flex Users Group a week from Thursday night, the 11th of September in San Francisco.
