This presentation is a case study about using a set of standard technologies including Flex to build an SOA application that provides generic access control services. This application's UI was built on Flex and the server side was built using standard Java technologies (Jersey, Spring Framework and JPA). The interaction between the client and the server is through RESTful APIs. We will highlight various challenges and lessons learned from this project as well as some of the design decisions.
