Recording 360|Flex - Free Full Sessions on AMP

I have been heads down working on a new video project, codenamed "Hyperdrive and aka "Sessions", with a small team at Adobe. The project is a hosted video service for AdobeTV and AMP which will contain your application demos, your tutorials, and your conference sessions. Note the keyword is your, this isn't Adobe's content, it is your content.

To kick-start the project we decided to record the 360|Flex Conference in San Jose in its entirely in HD screencasts (1024x768). Today we are releasing the first 5 sessions on AMP and we will post more sessions today and over the coming weeks. All content has been posted under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 License with the original work credited to the presenter.

Here is the 360Flex AMP install badge:

  • Flex Accessibility by Giorgio Natili
  • Reading the Flex source code by Jonathan Branam

Special thanks to the team at 360|Flex and to the entire team at Adobe who made this happen.

Enjoy the show!

Ted :)

Ted, installing AMP from here did not add the 360 stuff. After AMP installed, I did a search for 360 and found nothing related. I searched for flex and found a lynda class, but nothing from the conference.

Ok, so I had did the install from the badge on the right. When I did it again with the badge in the middle, it worked, BUT, it only added one session. I see no way to get the other sessions.

I've heard that the install is supposed to automatically add the subscription to your favorites, but it's not working for me. I already had AMP installed, and even tried uninstalling it ( clearing the local store for it as well ) and reinstalling it and it still didn't do it. Can you post the link to the feed so that we can subscribe?

    Ted,

Thanks a lot for making this available.

How do I get them on AMP, a search gets me nothing?

    Thank you,
    Mrinal

    Hi,
you may want to install AMP, but it is not necessary. If you have an FLV player installed use it to open the sessions in the link provided by Ted in his last comment. By the way I am watching them inside Firefox 3.
