Looks like Dell has been working with Flex 3. These widgets are confirmed Flex 3.

Go Flex!
Ted :)
DIGG IT!
Very nice! I wish Apple did the same..
I am dying to see a swf in that domain and "Thank God" OS X and Safari IS capable of using the Flash Player.. ;)
Don't get me wrong, flex is truly lovely. But this is an absolutely horrible use for such a powerful technology. Dell would be much better off using super basic html and CSS for this. You wouldn't even need any javascript to make that work.
I hate it when people use technology for what it's not best for.
haha thats quite funny. That kind of flex widget is really a joke.
Like agent_42 i would make such a lame website element in html and css.
thats lame!
@agent_42:
I agree in many ways that CSS & images would work here but on the other hand just think about the difference in development time between the CSS route & the Flex route :)
Not that I'm suggesting developers are lazy ;)
Completely agree with agent_42. They could have done so much more with the flex widgets rather than just thinking "Hey, we've got flex builder. We should try making something for the website". If you're going to make the end user wait for something to download, at least give it some extra thought.
