Here are my slides from the Flex Bootcamp at Adobe MAX Europe. I did a presentation called "Flex in 30 Minutes" that covers all the basics of Flex. Please feel free to use this in user group meetings and you have my permission to present this as your own and edit the slides as needed.

If I may ask, unless there is some reason you can't, or you simply don't want to do so, would you consider posting a version that includes your spoken comments?

Any chance we can get access to recorded video sessions from MAX Chicago ? Would'nt mind paying a small fee for it even (like the 360 Flex sessions).

I would already be happy if the PDFs of the presentations would all be online. Currently a big part of them are still missing :(

My only problem with flex is the IDE -adobe flex builder costs $500 .
Without flex builder writing mxml seems quite difficult without the IDE. Are there open source free tools available to ease the transition
