Flash gets an Evangelist, Lee Brimelow

DIGG IT!     4 Comments Published Monday, September 10, 2007 at 9:09 AM .

It is really great to see someone as talented as Lee Brimelow join Adobe as a evangelist and even better for him to be focused on Flash. Flash is an amazing product but without a public facing evangelist showcasing the capabilities, I think many were left to wonder about where Flash was headed. Having spent time with Lee on the on AIR bus tour I am very excited about him joining Adobe and representing Flash. Lee Brimelow is both a great person and a very talented developer/designer/devigner.

Lee welcome to Adobe, Flash you are in good hands!

Cheers,

Ted :)

Yep, he's quite excellent. I never thought frog would be the right place for to play out his strengths :-)
He also brings in good knowledge of WPF, can't hurt.
Congrats to Lee and let me know when he will do his first preso/workshop and where he will set up his Adobe blog!

Thanks Ted. Can't wait for us to work together.

I've gone through Lee Brimelow's video tutorials (1-8) on his site gotoandlearn.com and they were very helpful in building a Flash player from scratch, rather than using the FLVPlayback control.

He definitely demystifies some of the seemingly harder points.

Ooops, meant to say FLV player. Not a Flash player. Oh well, I'm sure Lee would understand if he sees this.
