Webpass home internet

DIGG IT!     7 Comments Published Saturday, August 18, 2007 at 12:06 PM .

I just moved into a new building and when I signed my lease i was informed that the building was wired for Internet by Web-Pass. The installer just left and I tested the network, 28 Mbps download and 22 Mbps upload. I am speechless.

Time to set-up a server!

Cheers,

Ted

What is really funny is that my WIFI network is the bottleneck. If I plug in ethernet it goes up in speed to 30Mbps. Things have changed.

I hate living in the boonies with nothing but wireless. 2-down, 1-up... at least that's what they're saying I'm supposed to get, but I swear they're running their service on a 56k modem.
