Pong with Flex 2

DIGG IT!     2 Comments Published Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at 4:15 PM .

I was in Santa Barbara working with a killer development team Monday/Tuesday teaching Flex 2 and met Seth Caldwell. Seth is new to Flex 2 and has been evaluating it for a very important project launching next year. Monday evening after the first day of training, I received Flex 2 Pong via email.

Pong with Flex2

Go Seth!

Enjoy,

I actually liked this more when the pong ball was a Flex CheckBox!

I did too, I'm a big fan of minimalism. Going through that donut experience was fun also though, to see how to directly draw UI elements. I'm going to have to play with the 9points UI creation soon, to stretch the samurai sword paddles that will be replacing the buttons, hehe.

Flex really is so easy and quick to develop with, every day I'm just amazed at how fast I get things done.

It feels like a new pattern of development cycle is born with flex... I wonder if there's a name for it, where prototypes ARE the apps. Lightning development, or something =)
