The Flex Builder IDE is dependent on Eclipse. The Mac version of Eclipse did not have several core features to enable completion of Flex Builder. Adobe is working to get Eclipse on par with the Windows version and will then release a version of Flex Builder for Mac.
I will keep you posted. There is a MacTel Flash 9 Player in the way soon.
