FLAw - Player Crash via preloading Shared Library - Part II

DIGG IT!     1 Comments Published Thursday, December 04, 2003 at 6:15 AM .

I am working with Macromedia to address this error. I packaged up before and after ZIPs of the files made from scratch. If your IDE crashes, please leave a detailed comment...\0

I cannot provide source for the shared.swf as it contains all V2 MX 2004 Pro SWC's, I would be violating the EULA. Macromedia was sent source for both, you get source for Main.fla and shared.swf.

In the examples, I built these files completely from scratch with no pasting from the prior FLA. The first ZIP pre_main_compilation.zip contains everything just before the first compile. The second are the files after the very first compilation when the IDE crashed.

Please leave comments in regard to your testing as this will help isolate the error and allow Macromedia to address this crash bug. Ideally your comments would define which platforms are affected and how repeatable the error is.

Thanks & Cheers,

ted ;)
